Yes, every tier has a 20-scan daily limit in addition to its monthly allowance, mainly to prevent abuse. Most people never come close to it.

Receipt images are processed by AI to extract the text, then discarded. Only the extracted information (store, date, items, prices) is kept. Photos are not stored permanently in the cloud.
