What does Senzo actually do?

Senzo reads receipts and keeps the details in one place. Each week, the coach looks at your spending and tells you what changed, what deserves attention, and whether you are on pace for the month.

Do I need to connect my bank account?

No. Senzo works from receipts you photograph or forward by email, and no plan ever asks for a bank or credit card connection. You stay in control of what enters your record. The tradeoff is that it is less automatic than bank-linked apps: you add receipts as you go.

Does Senzo work in my country?

Yes. Senzo reads receipts in multiple languages and currencies, so its main features work outside Sweden too. Some Business tax features are specific to certain countries.

No. Senzo helps you see and understand your spending and build better habits, but it is not financial advice. For big decisions like investments, loans, or taxes, talk to a qualified professional.

How old do I need to be to use Senzo?

Yes. Every account starts with 7 days of Premium. You can scan and review receipts, use budgets, and ask the coach questions. After the trial, you need a monthly plan to continue.

Family gives up to six household members a shared view of receipts and spending. It also includes expense splitting. Scan and coach limits are shared by the household.

Business is for freelancers and sole traders. It includes 500 scans, 200 coach messages, VAT reports, mileage, and accountant exports each month.

How do subscriptions renew and cancel?

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Refunds follow the policy of the app store you subscribed through (Google Play or the App Store).

Is there a daily scan limit as well as a monthly one?

Yes. Every plan has a 20-scan daily limit as well as its monthly allowance. The daily limit helps prevent automated abuse.

What happens to my receipt photos?

Senzo processes receipt images to read their contents, then discards the images. It keeps the extracted receipt record, such as the store, date, items, and prices. Photos are not stored permanently in the cloud.

How long is my data kept?

Receipt data is stored securely with encryption for 12 months. If you delete your account, all cloud data is removed within 30 days.

Yes, at any time. Go to Settings, then Account, then Delete Account inside the app. This is a full, permanent deletion, not a deactivation.

Yes. Forwarded email receipts (from stores like Klarna, for example) count toward your monthly scan limit the same way a photographed receipt does.

You review every scan before saving it. If the store, date, or amount is wrong, you can correct it before it reaches your history.

No. You decide what enters your record, and Senzo works with whatever you add. Many people start with the categories that matter most, like groceries or subscriptions. Digital receipts can be forwarded by email instead of photographed.

Can I forward someone else's receipt?

Email forwarding is meant for your own receipts. Forwarding someone else's email without their consent isn't an intended or supported use of the feature.
